Sunday Lunch

 

 Happy Birthday Mommy!

 

with daddy present to ensure that the birthday cake would be eggshell free, baker elsie successfully mixed and baked her first, of many to come, b'day cakes (kit was sleeping on how she would place her allotment of candles onto said cake). as you can see, mommy was quite pleased with her little confectioner's creation. congratulations mommy on making it another year! how you've managed to age so gracefully under the strain of these two monkeys is a wonder. if only daddy had fared so well. we love you mommy! happy 39th!

Generous Gifts

 

While we were gone over the holidays, we received from fabulous and thoughtful gifts from Grandpa Dave and Grandma Sharon.  They were perfect for cold cooped up winter nights these past few weeks.  Here are the girls trying them on for size!

Playdate

 

We are fortunate to have a number of girls in the neighborhood that our girls love to play with--it is heartwarming to hear them exploring imaginative worlds together, so enthusiastic and sweet.... giggling, running, squealing in delight, hugging hello and goodbye.  Here is darling Lola Gray Gaddy a few weeks back over for a playdate.  We always love having her and can't wait to have her again soon.

I know we should wait for the big reveal, but we were so excited to visit the HHI house under construction that I had to let out a sneak peek.... very exciting... summer here we come!
