Beth and David spent three nights away from Elsie when they went to New York to attend the CCCCs conference. It was very hard to leave their little girl and extremely disappointing to spend their first night away stuck in Cincinnati with airline frustrations. Luckily, Elsie was happy at home being spoiled by Grammy Pat and Aunt Andrea for two nights and then GranAnn and Pop Roy for one. Elsie did squeal with delight when Mom and Dad returned and enjoyed celebrating Dad's 35th birthday! In his wise old age, David believes Elsie has inherited his good looks, charm, and sense of humor; Beth hopes she has inherited her humility.
