Happy Hour: Part I

Soon after arrival for the Thanksgiving/Anniversary festivities, we headed to the Salty Dog for welcoming cocktails. Don't ask me what Kate was imbibing in this picture?

Beginning last Wednesday, we descended on 11 Painted Bunting, the neighboring house to 20 Belted Kingfisher on Hilton Head Island to celebrate my parents and their 40th wedding anniversary! We ate and drank and played and ate and drank and played some more. We cooked some and then cooked some more and celebrated my wonderful parents when we weren't distracted by our wonderful children--which wasn't often or thoroughly enough.
