The biggest surprise at Camille's birthday was Kit's unadulterated passion for the horses! There were two ponies ready for riding so after the big kids had their turns, we thought we'd just see if Miss Kit wanted to take hers. We had no idea that she would cry--when she had to get off and then fuss until it was her turn again. She loved it! She waved! She held daddy's hand until she felt brave enough to go it alone. The tricycle may lose its allure now. Kit's mommy was obsessed with ponies and her great grandmother Dorothy was a fine horsewoman and perhaps Kit's been bitten by the bug too!
