The First Day of School




Elsie was all ready to head back to the Montessori Academy today on her first day of school. It is hard to believe it has been three years--remember year one and year two. And here she is on the first day of her third year. While her birthday is after the September 1st cut off, she'll start the PreK curriculum with Ms. Carol, Ms. Tracy, and Ms. Candace anyway. She will work on her reading, writing, math, science, and social studies in the big classroom with the oldest kids in school. She'll be all set then when she starts PreK officially as the biggest little one at one of our neighborhood schools next fall!
