Springtime in Savannah

 

Friday night, we nixed a quick visit over to Hilton Head because of all the rain in the forecast.  While the forecasters may not know anything about the weather, perhaps they knew that we might benefit from a home-based weekend with good night sleeps in our beds.  We enjoyed a Friday happy hour watching big boats on River Street, we tried to fly a kite on a windy Saturday morning after a pancake breakfast, we dyed Easter Eggs after naps, and we enjoyed a Southside Saturday Night sans kids at the movies and the Carabba's in the strip mall scene of Savannah's Southside.  We even got some spring cleaning in by tackling the playroom Sunday morning, did our weekly grocery shop that afternoon, and grilled out with friends after biking to their house Sunday night.  Not a bad weekend at all!
