Lucy and Hedgie




This week we are a little sad... happy sad though... School starts soon with the anticipation/mourning that the end of summer and beginning of something new inspires... And along with that, our dear Lucy started as a first-year student at UGA. She headed up yesterday and we will miss her. For years now, she has been a great sitter for us--just across the street and so sweet with the girls. Here she is with little hedgie, Clarence, and the girls. And, yes, Lucy is as lovely inside as she is outside. Honestly, if the girls turned out just a little bit like her with her sense of humor, intelligence, charm, and easy self-assurance we would call ourselves successful as parents!
